How to Easily Administer
an Enema on Yourself!
A home enema is one of the easiest and natural ways to flush the colon. An unclean colon is surprisingly the cause of many unrelated
disorders. Accumulated toxins create an environment for germs to breed in the colon and allow the blood to get poisoned.
"But I don't want to give myself an enema!"
If you're like me, you're probably not looking forward to administering one on yourself! The positives definitely outweigh the negatives
though and it really isn't as bad as you think!
To help you get started, I've listed some step by step instructions to help you get familiar with the process. If you purchased a kit,
it will come with instructions, but it's nice to have an idea of what you will go through before you actually purchase it!
Preparation:
- The day before the flush, eat a diet of only fresh fruits and vegetables.
- Drink at least 3 liters of distilled water.
- Avoid eating bananas.
"It's time to get started!"
Directions:
- Add 2 to 4 quarts (depending on the size of your bag) of filtered or distilled water to the enema bag.
- Suspend the bag at least 1 meter above the rectum.
- You'll need a clamp for flow control. These usually come with the kits, but if you didn't buy a kit, be sure and get one.
- The knee-chest position with the chest against the floor and the rectum higher than the head is the best position. You can also lay on your left side with your knees against your chest.
- Insert nozzle/rectal tube tip into the anus, using lubricant as needed.
- Release the clamp and allow water to flow into the rectum and colon slowly. Take as much water as possible. Refill bag if needed or until it becomes uncomfortable to take any more water. Massage abdomen in counter-clockwise direction. This will help the solution go higher into the colon and break loose any encrusted material.
- When the bag is empty or no more fluid can be injected, remove nozzle/rectal tube.
- Lie down for a few minutes, while massaging the abdomen counter-clockwise.
- Move to the toilet and release the water.
Wash and sanitize the equipment after use.
Helpful Hints:
- Massaging the abdomen while expelling the water helps move any gas and feces toward the rectum and out the anus.
- The best position for expelling the water is squatting over the toilet rather than sitting on it. The squatting position puts pressure on your abdomen from your thighs.
- By adding 1 Tbsp Celtic Sea Salt to the water, you increase the transfer of water into the colon. This helps prevent filling your kidneys and bladder with water. It will also help eliminate the frequent trips to the toilet.
