Delicious Smoothie Recipes
Smoothie recipes are pretty easy to find and probably even easier to just create on your own. I started out by following some recipes, but later just put whatever I felt like into the blender. I rarely made a smoothie that I didn't enjoy!

Below is my generic recipe for creating smoothies. Try it out with your favorite fruits or try some of the recipes listed below.Generic Smoothie Recipe- Choose a couple pieces of your favorite fruit

It's really that easy! You can experiment with vanilla, dates, nuts, coconuts, greens, or whatever your heart desires! So have fun and experiment or try a few of the recipes below. The best thing about smoothies besides the yummy taste, is they are very nutritious and filling.
Banana Coconut SmoothieThis is a really tasty, SIMPLE recipe (aside from cracking the coconut)! It tastes best if your bananas are nice and ripe. If you have some bananas that are about to go bad but you're not ready to use them, you can freeze them. Just peel them, slice them and place them in an airtight bag in the freezer. When you're ready to use them, just take them out and let them sit out for about 5 minutes so they soften a little. Ingredients:
- 1 young coconut
- 2 ripe bananas
Directions: - Crack coconut and add all the liquid to the blender. Take a spoon and scrape all the meat from the coconut into the blender.
- Add the bananas to the blender. Blend at high speed for a couple of seconds or until blended.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy!
Cool Pear SmoothieThis recipe is great on a warm summer day! It's cool and light and just tastes really good.
Ingredients:- 1 pear
- 2 dates, pitted
- 1/2 vanilla bean
- 1 cup purified water
- 3 to 4 ice cubes
- 1 mint leaf, optional
Directions: - Place all ingredients in blender. Blend at high speed for a couple of seconds or until blended.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy!
Orange EnergyIf you think orange juice with a hint of chocolate flavor sounds good, then you'll love this recipe. It doesn't actually have any chocolate in it, but tastes like it from the maca! This recipe is great if you need a boost of energy or want to jump start your day! Ingredients:- 3 large oranges
- 1 handful of baby spinach leaves
- 2 tsp maca
- 3 to 4 ice cubes
Directions: - Juice the oranges using a citrus juicer. Pour the juice into a blender.
- Add remaining ingredients to the blender. Blend at high speed for a couple of seconds or until blended.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy!
